I tried ’em all – And here’s what I thought.
One of the best parts of being a food blogger is getting to try out great new products. Especially when those products come from the creators of one of your favorite brands – Naked Juice. You’ve probably spied their smoothies and juice blends in your supermarket, near the produce section. Their new product, Naked Cold Pressed Juice, showcases five new veggie-forward cold-pressed juices that are made with simple, high-quality ingredients.
I was super excited to give them a test run.
Each year, I do a three-day juice cleanse. Mainly, just to prove to myself that I can do it – No food for three days. No wine for three days. But second, I love the benefits that it provides. My skin looks so much clearer, my energy level goes up, and I find myself craving more and more fruits and vegetables.
When I’m not cleansing, I still like to get my fruits and veggies in first thing in the morning. Typically, I’ll fix a green smoothie and guzzle it down on my drive in to work. However, sometimes, sleeping in wins, and that’s when Naked Pressed saves the day.
Each Naked Cold Pressed Juice is made with ready-to-eat, high quality fruits and vegetables that are cold-pressed right into the bottle. The juices are shipped immediately to ensure only the highest-quality, best-tasting juice hits the shelf every time. The best part? Naked Pressed have no added sugar, no preservatives and are verified by the Non GMO Project.
Let’s talk about all of these fabulous flavors!
My personal favorite is the Bold Beet. With a flavor profile of beet, carrot, cucumber, apple, lemon, orange and ginger each bottle is a good source of Potassium. It’s got a bit of a spicy kick from the ginger, which blends so well with the sweetness of the beets. It’s like a velvety maroon elixir that I don’t want to put down. I find myself craving this juice day after day.
Coming in at a close second is the Cool Pineapple. It’s a sweet blend of pineapple, cucumber and lemon with a touch of filtered water. With cold and flu germs running rampant in our office, I’m all over this juice to get my healthy boost of vitamin C.
The Bright Greens is a refreshing blend of eight juices – apple, cucumber, celery, lettuce, lemon, kale, spinach and wheatgrass which is a good source of Potassium and an excellent source of Vitamin K. I’m not always the best at getting my veggies in during the day, but this green drink helps me get in those nutrients.
Lively Carrot – With a delicious blend of five juices – carrot, apple, orange, cucumber, lemon, also has an added hint of vanilla and turmeric. It’s almost like chugging a yummy slice of carrot cake. Comfort in a bottle.
More seasoned juicers will appreciate the Hearty Greens. It contains a delicious blend of nine juices – celery, apple, lettuce, cucumber, orange, spinach, lemon, wheatgrass and kale with a hint of spearmint. It’s a good source of Potassium and Vitamin C and an excellent source of Vitamin K.
You can find Naked Pressed in your local West Coast stores and coming soon nationwide. Which do you want to try first?
