Easy Roasted Chicken 

This is the best simple whole roasted chicken recipe. The skin is perfectly crisp and crackly.  This recipe includes a lovely pan gravy at the finish. Easy enough for a weeknight dinner!

INGREDIENTS for Easy Roasted Chicken 

For The Chicken: – 4-6 lb whole chicken  – olive oil  – salt & pepper  – paprika & chili powder  – garlic & onion powder  – poultry seasoning  For The Gravy: – dry white wine – cornstarch – water

Begin by preheating your oven to 450 degrees F. Pat the chicken dry. Rub spice mix under the skin and outside of the chicken.

Tie up the chicken legs and wings using kitchen twine.  Place in your preheated oven and immediately reduce the heat to 375 degrees F.

The gravy couldn't be simpler. Over medium-high heat deglaze the dripping pan with white wine. Add a cornstarch slurry and stir till the gravy thickens up. Season to taste. Enjoy!
