Slow Cooker Corned Beef

This Slow Cooker Glazed Corned Beef & Cabbage is made in the crockpot and finished off under the broiler. The meat is salty and flavorful and finished off with the glaze that gives it a nice crispy crust. This recipe also serves a honey-mustard sauce perfect for drizzling over the  vegetables. So, so good!

INGREDIENTS for Slow Cooker Corned Beef

Meat and Vegetables: – small red potatoes  – carrots & celery  – 3-5 pounds corned beef brisket  – 1 cabbage & garlic – 1 bottle dark beer Glaze: – brown sugar – brown mustard – water – butter Honey Mustard Sauce: – honey or agave – brown mustard - Greek yogurt (optional)

1. Add potatoes, carrots, celery, garlic, corned beef, a bottle of beer and the spice packet that comes with the corned beef to the slow cooker.

2. Cook on LOW for 8 hrs or HIGH for 4 hrs. Meanwhile, prepare the brown sugar-mustard glaze. 3. Remove the corned beef from the slow cooker and coat with some glaze. Place under the broiler set to LOW until golden for about 30 minutes, adding more glaze every 10 minutes or so.

4. While the corned beef is finishing, strain the cooking liquids from the crock pot and boil the cabbage in there.
