Buying vs Making Bone Broth
When it comes to bone broth, you have the option to either make it at home or buy it pre-made from the store.
Making bone broth at home allows you to control the ingredients, making sure it’s free from preservatives and additives and my favourite part is that you can adjust it to your taste preferences! But it does require time and effort and will have to simmer for 12-24 hours.
Store-bought bone broth offers convenience and can be a great time-saver! Look for options labeled organic and grass-fed to ensure high quality, and always check the ingredient list for any unwanted additives.
Both options have their benefits, so choose what is best for your lifestyle!

40+ Ways to Cook with Bone Broth
Bone broth is a nutrient-rich, flavorful ingredient that many people are eager to incorporate into their cooking! In this roundup, I've gathered 40+ delicious recipes that highlight the incredible and versatile uses of bone broth. From comforting soups and stews to savory risottos and sauces, these recipes will show you just how essential bone broth can be in your kitchen. This Slow Cooker "Better Than Botox" Bone Broth is full of natural collagen! Make chicken, pork or beef stock using kitchen scraps and this simple crockpot method.
Place the bones your slow cooker. The bones should fill up about 3/4 of the slow-cooker.
Chop your vegetables and garlic, no need to peel. You can also add vegetable scraps and rinsed, crushed egg shells into your slow-cooker. You’ll be straining these out before consuming the broth.
Fill the slow-cooker with water. Season with a generous amount of salt (about 1 teaspoon).
Add 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar (you won’t notice the taste).
Cook on low and cook for 18-72 hours.
Strain the broth through cheesecloth or a strainer and cool. A good broth will usually have a layer of fat on the top, and will gelatinize when thoroughly cool. Remove the fat with a spoon and discard.
Can I pour you a glass of wine? Let’s have some fun in the kitchen! Maybe some pasta? A juicy steak? I’ve got loads of yummy, easy recipes for you! Because cooking should feel as comfy as your favorite yoga pants. ♥
