Pasta chips are made with simple ingredients. And you may have them on hand already!
Serve them with your favorite dipping sauce like marinara sauce or vodka sauce for a fun & easy appetizer or snack!
- Bowtie pasta (or other favorite pasta – see below for suggestions)
- Olive oil
- Parmesan cheese
- Garlic powder & Italian seasoning – Or, see more ideas below!

Swap out the garlic powder and Italian seasoning for one of these favorites:

How to make air fryer pasta chips
- Boil pasta in salted water to just shy of al dente, about 8 minutes.
- Drain.
- Preheat air fryer to 400 degrees F(200 degrees C).
- Coat pasta with oil, parmesan, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and salt.
- Cook 6 minutes, tossing every 2 minutes to prevent sticking. Work in batches to avoid overlapping.
- Transfer to a paper towel lined plate and repeat with remaining pasta.
- Enjoy!
How to make baked pasta chips
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F(200 degrees C).
- Boil pasta in salted water to just shy of al dente, about 8 minutes.
- Drain.
- Coat pasta with oil, parmesan, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and salt.
- Arrange on a baking sheet.
- Bake 20-25 minutes, tossing halfway through, until golden brown.

Ingredients
- 2 cups pasta (farfalle, ½ of a 1 lb. package (or other favorite pasta))
- 1 Tablespoon olive oil
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- ½ teaspoon salt
Instructions
Air Fryer
- Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Cook pasta just shy of al dente, about 8 minutes. Drain.
- Preheat air fryer to 400 degrees (200 degrees C).
- Transfer the pasta to a large bowl and drizzle with olive oil. Sprinkle on parmesan cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and salt. Toss to coat.
- Working in batches, place pasta in air fryer in a single layer and cook 6 minutes, tossing every 2 minutes to prevent sticking.
- Transfer to a paper towel lined plate and repeat with remaining pasta.
