It’s officially the middle of November and I’m finally forcing myself to accept that it’s Fall.

What better way to do that than with this cozy Apple Cider Cocktail in hand, a comfy throw blanket, and a night of Netflix?

I’m definitely going to miss the warm temperatures and the sunshine, but Fall is always a nice change of pace too.

I love how simple this recipe is! You may even have the ingredients on hand already. Spiced apple cider blends with vodka, lime and soda water. You can also customize this cocktail. Don’t want vodka? Try swapping it out for whiskey or bourbon (more on that below).

Apple Cider Cocktail Ingredients:

  • Vodka
  • Apple Cider
  • Apple
  • Lime
  • Soda Water

How to Make an Apple Cider Cocktail

Just add some chopped up apple and lime wedges to a cocktail shaker and use a muddler to extract their juices. Then shake it all up with some vodka and apple cider, strain into an ice filled glass, and garnish (if desired). Enjoy!

What Liquor in Apple Cider Cocktail?

I don’t like vodka? Can I use a different liquor in my Apple Cider Cocktail?

You sure can! You can swap in these liquors:

  • Tequila
  • Fireball Cinnamon Whiskey
  • Gin
  • Rum

To finish off my Apple Cider Cocktail, I dressed it up with a slice of apple and star anise. This is totally optional, but super pretty and festive.

These apple cider cocktails would be perfect served as part of your Thanksgiving celebration this year. They would be perfect for any celebration since they’re super simple to make and you can also customize them to suit your guests’ preferences.

Erin , just finished preparing for the big Thanksgiving meal . Sampling the Cozy Cider Cocktail before serving to my family tomorrow. It will be our cocktail before the big dinner. It is delicious, love the aroma of the apple slice as I sip this drink.
