Apple Cider Cocktail with Vodka (Easy Recipe!!!)

This Apple Cider Vodka Cocktail is made with vodka, apple cider, muddled apples and lime wedges. Finish it off with a splash of soda water for a bit of fizz.

It’s officially Fall and I’m finally forcing myself to accept that fact…

What better way to do that than with this cozy Apple Cider Cocktail in hand, a comfy throw blanket (I love this one), and a night of Netflix?

I’m definitely going to miss the warm temperatures and the sunshine. But, Fall is always a nice change of pace too.

Why you’ll love it

This recipe is so simple! You may even have the ingredients on hand already.

Spiced apple cider blends with vodka, lime and soda water.

You can also customize this cocktail. Don’t want vodka? Try swapping it out for whiskey or bourbon (more on that below).

Ingredients needed

  • Vodka – Or, swap it out for salted caramel vodka, whiskey or bourbon.
  • Apple Cider – Use a good, high-quality cider for the best taste.
  • Apple
  • Lime
  • Soda Water

How to make it

  • Just add some chopped up apple and lime wedges to a cocktail shaker and use a muddler to extract their juices.
  • Shake it all up with some vodka and apple cider.
  • Strain into an ice filled glass.
  • Garnish with apple slices, star anise and rosemary sprigs, if desired. This is totally optional, but super pretty and festive.

I don’t like vodka? Can I use a different liquor?

You sure can! You can swap in these liquors:

  • Tequila
  • Fireball Cinnamon Whiskey
  • Gin
  • Rum

These cocktails would be perfect served as part of your Thanksgiving celebration this year. They would be perfect for any celebration since they’re super simple to make and you can also customize them to suit your guests’ preferences.

Apple juice is fermented to become alcohol containing apple cider. After that, oxygen is allowed to interact with the cider. This turns the alcohol into acetic acid. You will find this ingredient in the finished product.

Thank you for this sweet recipe, love this.
